The courts are "Rebound Ace" surfaced, as used at the Australian Open. With season court rentals, lessons for both adults and children, tournaments, league play, supervised junior match play, USTA events, parties, summer camps, and the Mad Dog Junior Tennis Program, Tennis Central is the place to be! Directions: From Merritt Parkway (Rt. 15) South bound: Take exit 59 (Woodbridge, New Haven), Turn left at the end of the ramp. At the third light turn right on Bradley Road. At the stop sign turn left, staying on Bradley Road. Tennis Central is at the end of the road on the right.From Merritt Parkway (Rt. 15) North bound: Take exit 59 (Woodbridge, New Haven), Turn left at the end of the ramp. At the fifth light turn right on Bradley Road. At the stop sign turn left, staying on Bradley Road. Tennis Central is at the end of the road on the right. Directions from 95 North bound: Take Exit 44 - Kimberly Ave. Go right at end of exit, and left at first traffic light onto Route 10 (Ella Grasso Boulevard). Follow Rt 10 about 2.5 miles until intersection of Whalley Ave. Turn left onto Whalley and follow directions below from Whalley. Directions from 95 South: As you enter New Haven on I-95 South take Exit for Route 34, Downtown New Haven. Go straight and it will become a city street. Continue straight on Rt 34 to end. Turn right onto Ella Grasso Blvd. Go up 6 or 7 lights and turn left onto Whalley Avenue. Get in right lane and follow approximately 3 miles (through Westville Center). Whalley Ave will split at Mobil gas station, bear right onto Route 69 (Boston Chicken and Walgreens will be on your right). Go under the overpass for the Merritt Parkway and turn right at the fourth traffic light onto Bradley Road. At the stop sign turn left, staying on Bradley Road. Tennis Central is at the end of the road on the right. Directions from Rt 8: Take Rt 63 Exit in Naugatuck. Follow 63 South towards Bethany (approx 7 miles). Head under Merritt Parkwy and into New Haven. At intersection with Mobil gas on left, Taco Bell, and Boston Chicken turn hard left onto Rt 69. Follow directions for Merritt Parkway North bound.
